Ain’t nothin to it
But to do it day after day after day
I’m not too familiar with rocket science.
It sounds complex and like the route to the solution will give a headache.
With that though, I’ve found a answer to a big problem we both have.
It’s true, we’re more alike than we are different.
We share the lack of consistency in what will elevate our productivity.
Now, I’m not out here saying you’re not getting it in and getting it done.
But, what I am saying is there is something on your wish list or on your to do list that you certainly are not doing.
From business to personal, there is something on that list.
And yes, I found out the answer. How you can get it done and feel better about yourself for doing it, it’s not rocket science. No.
The answer comes after the title of this post.
You’ve heard it before:
Ain’t nothin to it [But to do it]
Insert Nike slogan.
That’s it. It’s over.
Do it. And then do it again and again.
Here is a key though. The overwhelm may come if it’s doing the whole thang all at once. Maybe the thing on your list is to start a side business that brings in enough money to buy you a poodle and Benz. (I dunno, those sound like cool things that cost a grip of money) No, you don’t have to start, manage and run a whole business like that by just doing it.
However, doing a lil part of that business everyday, now thats a different game. Marking a bit done here and then there everyday, that will get you there. Doing a little bit of your idea daily will accumulate.
It’s like the snowball that turns into an avalanche. But I aint never been to the snow like that so let me give another example, it’s like going to the bar at happy hour with those specific friends that can DRINK talkin bout you’ll go for only one drink *on pay day* we know whats about already — way more than one drink.
It accumulates.
Write down the first step that will get you closer to whatever it is you want to do.
Cross it off your list.
Then do that again.
And then do that again.
Ain’t nothin to it…
Happy Hustling.
