Let the coders code
Outsource and delegate what you don’t know to get the job done
I went to school to be an illustrator.
I painted in acrylics.
I painted in oil.
Soon, I scanned the paintings in and manipulated them.
Then I painted digitally.
Then I started to design.
I started with graphics, then logos.
Soon I began designing websites.
I was always a bit fearful of coding and development.
I never learned to code.
Yet I published several websites that I designed for myself and my clients.
I found the apps that turned my designs into code for me.
My strength was concepting the idea and designing, my weakness was developing so I leaned on the apps that could do it for me.
I let the coders code.
It’s similar to delegation.
Send tasks to others to help you launch.
What you don’t know how to do or what you rather not do — send it to a person or app who will.
“That’s all I’m trying to do… outsource and delegate”
Apps you can use to help someone else get the job done for you:
- Fiverr
- Upwork
- Email + Text your friends and their friends and ask around
- Facebook, Instagram & Twitter same thing, ask around
- Toptal
Or look in the app store.
I use these apps to design and make websites right from my phone:
Not knowing how to do a particular part of what will help you launch your idea does not have to stop you from launching!
